The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
