The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When there happeneth the Event. 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 And the mountains are crumbled, crumbled. 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 So those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 8 And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A [large] company of the former peoples 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 facing one another. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 With cups, and jugs, and a glass from the flowing wine, 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 they will also go about them with the fruits of which they may choose, 20 And the flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 The likenesses of pearls well-protected, 23 a recompense for that they laboured. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 except each other's greetings of, "Peace be with you". 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 [They, too, will find themselves] amidst fruit laden lote-trees, 28 and banana trees, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and waters gushing, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And couches raised up. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
