Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by Mawaqi (setting or the mansions, etc.) of the stars (they traverse). 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 which none but the pure [of heart] can touch: 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
