Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
