The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the fig and the olive; 1 And by oath of Mount Sinai, 2 By the yonder secure city, 3 We have indeed created man in the best of moulds, 4 then We restored him the lowest of the low -- 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the justest of judges? 8
