The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
