And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
