Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 But who are oblivious of their moral duties, 5 Those who make show [of their deeds] 6 and refuse charity. 7
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
