The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

OH, the sudden calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
