Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 Of no avail shall be his wealth, nor what he has acquired. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 and his wife, the carrier of the firewood, 4 Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber. 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
