Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 These are verses of the wise Book, 2 Guidance and mercy for the righteous. 3 Those who establish worship and pay the poor-due and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 4 Such are on guidance from their Lord, and such are the successful. 5 And of men is he who takes instead frivolous discourse to lead astray from Allah's path without knowledge, and to take it for a mockery; these shall have an abasing chastisement. 6 When Our verses are recited to him, he turns his back in pride, as though he never heard them, and in his ears was heaviness. Give glad tidings to him of a painful punishment! 7 Surely those who believe and do good deeds shall have Gardens of Bliss. 8 Wherein they will abide. It is a promise of Allah in truth. He is the Mighty, the Wise. 9 He created the heavens without pillars you can see, and He cast on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake with you, and He scattered abroad in it all manner of crawling thing. And We sent down out of heaven water, and caused to grow in it of every generous kind. 10 Such is God's creation. Show me now what those (they worship) beside Him have created. Surely the evil-doers are in clear error. 11
