Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 And when the seas are flowed out, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, then made you complete, then made you symmetrical? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble scribes, 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 roasting therein on the Day of Doom, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
