And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 from Pharaoh who was most prominent among the prodigals. 31 We gave preference to the Israelites over the other people with Our knowledge 32 and gave them signs wherein there was a manifest trial. 33 Indeed these disbelievers proclaim; – 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring back to life our fathers if what you say is true". 36 Are these better or the people of Tubba and those who went before them? We destroyed them for they were a criminal people. 37 We created not the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, in play; 38 We did not create them except in Truth. But most of them do not know. 39 The Day of Final Decision is the appointed time for all; 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 42
