۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
