The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
