The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the fig, and the olive, 1 by Mount Sinai 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 We indeed created Man in the fairest stature 4 Then We render him the lowest of the low. 5 except those who have faith and do righteous deeds. Theirs is a never ending reward. 6 What, then, [O man,] could henceforth cause thee to give the lie to this moral law? 7 Is not God the most just of judges? 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
