Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 It will then be said to them, “Where are the partners you used to appoint?” – 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 We sent other Messengers before you; of some, We have already told you, of others We have not told you. Yet it was not for any Messenger to bring a verse except by the permission of Allah. And when the command of Allah comes the matter will be justly decided; and the vaindoers will be lost. 78
