۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 - which is indeed a great oath if only you knew it - 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and make it your daily bread [as it were] to call the truth a lie? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you at that time look on-- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is one of the People on the Right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 If it is of those who have rejected the Truth and have gone astray, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
