Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "[He is but] a poet - let us wait what time will do unto him"? 30 Tell them: "Keep on expecting, I am expecting with you." 31 Is it that their faculties of understanding urge them to this, or are they but a people transgressing beyond bounds? 32 Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe. 33 (If they are truthful in this), then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour. 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Hath He daughters and ye sons? 39 Or askest thou a hire from them so that they are with debt laden? 40 Or is the hidden with them, by which they pass judgements? 41 Or do they want to stage a deception? -- Then only those who do not believe will be the ones who will be tricked. 42 Do they have any god other than Allah? Exalted be Allah above whatever they associate (with Him in His Divinity). 43 If they should see a segment falling from the sky, they would say: "It is only a massive cloud." 44 So leave them alone until they face the day when they will be struck dead from terror 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient upon your Lord’s command, (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), for you are indeed in Our sight; and proclaim the Purity of your Lord while praising Him, whenever you stand. 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
