The chiefs of Firon's people said: most surely this is an enchanter possessed of knowledge: 109 who seeks to drive you from your land!" Pharaoh said, "What then do you advise?" 110 They answered: "Let him and his brother wait awhile, and send unto all cities heralds 111 "To bring all the wise magicians to you." 112 The sorcerers came to Pharaoh. They said: 'Shall we be rewarded if we are the winners' 113 He said, "Yes, and, [moreover], you will be among those made near [to me]." 114 They said, “O Moosa! You may throw first – or shall we be the first to throw?” 115 "You cast it first," answered Moses. When they cast their spell, they bewitched the eyes of the people and petrified them by conjuring up a great charm. 116 We put it into Moses's mind by inspiration: "Throw (now) thy rod": and behold! it swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake! 117 ۞ whereupon the truth was established, and vain was proved all that they had been doing. 118 They were therefore defeated here and they turned back humiliated. 119 threw themselves down in prostration 120 Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,- 121 "The Lord of Moses and Aaron." 122 Said Pharaoh: "Have you come to believe in him ere I have given you permission? Behold, this is indeed a plot which you have cunningly devised in this [my] city in order to drive out its people hence! But in time you shall come to know, [my revenge]: 123 "Surely, I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, then I will crucify you all." 124 They said: "For us, We are but sent back unto our Lord: 125 And you do not take revenge on us except because we have believed in the communications of our Lord when they came to us! Our Lord: Pour out upon us patience and cause us to die in submission. 126

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
