Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send fertilizing winds, and then cause rain to descend from the sky, providing you abundant water to drink even though you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And indeed it is We Who give life and it is We Who cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
