۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 and they have enraged us, 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
