Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We distinguished them for the distinct remembrance of the abode (of the Hereafter). 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 #NAME? 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 (Observing their followers advancing to Hell they will say, among themselves: “This is a troop rushing in to you. There is no welcome for them. They are destined to roast in the Fire.” 59 They say, 'No, it is you have no Welcome; you forwarded it for us; how evil a stablishment!' 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
