In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 That you are indeed one of those sent 3 upon the straight path. 4 [This is] a revelation of the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Behold, around their necks We have put shackles, reaching up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up; 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
