Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by Ya Sin 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 on a straight path; 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
