Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble, writers 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
