It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who giveth life and causeth death, and His is the difference of night and day. Have ye then no sense? 80 Nay, but they say the like of that which said the men of old; 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We and our fathers have been promised this before. It is but of the ancients' fictitious tales' 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will quickly reply, "It belongs to God." Say, "Will you not, then, take heed?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say, "They belong to God." Say, "So do you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Nay, but We have brought them the Truth, and lo! they are liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him! 92
