3/4 Hizb 45

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 “What is the matter with you, that you do not say anything?” 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 They plotted against him, but We brought humiliation upon them. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 for he was truly one of our believing servants. 111 Then, We gave him the glad tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous, 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
