By the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 a warning to humans, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 About the guilty: 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
