And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
