And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
