Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
