Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 From which you turn away. 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
