Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
