▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Of spreading branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In the two gardens there will be two flowing springs. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 They will recline on Carpets, whose inner linings will be of rich brocade: the Fruit of the Gardens will be near (and easy of reach). 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 Besides those two there shall be two other gardens. 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 There will be well-disciplined, beautiful maidens. 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
