The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
