And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 Then they found one of Our votaries, whom We had blessed and given knowledge from Us. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 "How can you bear that which is beyond your comprehension?" 68 He said: If Allah pleases, you will find me patient and I shall not disobey you in any matter. 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
