In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 storming tempestuously 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 Then spread abroad a Message, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
