۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
