The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 By the angels driving away. 2 And those who recite the message, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
