۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nigher unto him than ye are, but ye behold not 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Therefore glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 96
