Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
