۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 If he is among the near 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray, 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
