Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify God. He is Majestic and All-wise. 1 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: It is He Who gives Life and Death; and He has Power over all things. 2 He is the First and the Last, and the Outward as well as the Inward: and He has full knowledge of everything. 3 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days; then He mounted the Throne. He knoweth all that entereth the earth and all that emergeth therefrom and all that cometh down from the sky and all that ascendeth therein; and He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah is Seer of what ye do. 4 His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and all things will go back to Him. 5 He merges night into day (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the night is added into the hours of the day), and merges day into night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added into the hours of the night), and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts. 6 Believe in Allah and His apostle, and expend of that whereof He hath made you successors to. Those of you who believe and expend - theirs shall be a great hire. 7 What has come upon you that you believe not in God, though the Prophet is calling you to believe in your Lord? And He has already taken your pledge, if you are believers. 8 It is He who sends illustrious revelations to His servant to take you out of darkness to light. God is Compassionate and All-merciful to you. 9 How is it with you, that you expend not in the way of God, and to God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Not equal is he among you who spent, and who fought before the victory; those are mightier in rank than they who spent and fought afterwards; and unto each God has promised the reward most fair; and God is aware of the things you do. 10
