Al-Taareq
The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 Do you know what al-tariq is? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 [for] no human being has ever been left unguarded. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 He was created of spurting water 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 Verily, (Allah) is Able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of trees and plants) 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 And it is not a thing for amusement. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 Give respite to the disbelievers and leave them alone for a while. 17
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
