The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
