Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
