Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
