Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
