O children of Israel, remember the favours I bestowed on you. So keep your pledge to Me, and I will mine to you, and be fearful of Me, 40 And believe in what I have sent down (this Quran), confirming that which is with you, [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)], and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and buy not with My Verses [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] a small price (i.e. getting a small gain by selling My Verses), and fear Me and Me Alone. (Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. I, Page 253). 41 And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it). 42 And establish prayer, and give the poor-rate, and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ Would you order righteousness on others and forget it yourselves? Yet you recite the Book, have you no sense? 44 And seek assistance through patience and prayer, and most surely it is a hard thing except for the humble ones, 45 who are certain of their meeting with their Lord and their return to Him. 46
